Hi friends, and Happy Thanksgiving Week!
As we head into one of the coziest, most meaningful weeks of the year, I wanted to take a moment to check in, share a few updates, and send a little gratitude your way.
Thanksgiving always makes me pause and think about the people who fill my life with encouragement, inspiration, and joy — and you are absolutely part of that. Thank you for reading my stories, cheering on my projects, and being part of this community. Your support means more than you know.
Even though the holiday season is busy, the creative energy hasn’t slowed down one bit. This week I’m polishing up book designs, planning for upcoming events, and dreaming up new stories to share with you. There’s something magical about writing during the holidays — maybe it’s the mix of warm lights, cozy blankets, and the smell of good food in the air!
As we go into this thankful week, I hope you find moments of peace, laughter, and connection. Whether your table is big or small, loud or quiet, full of turkey or full of takeout, I hope your week is filled with warmth.
I’m grateful for you! I’m thankful for you! I’m blessed to have you in my life!
And I hope your Thanksgiving is as wonderful as your heart.
Whether you’re shopping online or braving the stores, stay safe, stay patient, and protect your peace. • Watch out for scams online — if a deal looks too good, pause and double-check. • If you’re heading out in person, keep an eye on your surroundings and take your time. • And remember: no sale is worth stressing yourself out or getting hurt over.
The holidays should be joyful, not chaotic, so treat yourself with care as you shop.
2020 was a tough year in so many ways, but it did bring a couple of good things with it. - First, many stores finally stopped opening on Thanksgiving. That change has allowed countless employees to spend the holiday where they truly belong — at home with their families, making memories, sharing meals, and enjoying a well-deserved break.
- And second, Zoom became a part of everyday life. Because of that, I got to meet so many wonderful, kind people I never would have met otherwise. Connections grew across miles, friendships formed through screens, and community found a way to bloom even in the middle of isolation.
Sometimes even the hardest years give us small blessings, and I’m grateful for these two. |
